Savory Sweet may be new to the catering business, but the owners bring many years of experience to this new endeavor.


  Barb has competed and won many baking awards at the Wyandot County Fair.


  Like her sister, Ginn has enjoyed cooking and baking for many years. She has been employed in food service for over 14 years as a dietary cook.


  We take the stress out of planning and preparing for any event.  Whether it's an event at our banquet facility or an off-site location.  As a one-stop catering service, our goal is to put your mind at ease while providing excellent food and service.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Dessert Buffets.  Boxed Lunches delivered to your location.  Birthday, Retirement, Graduation and Anniversary Parties.  Also, we can help you with your next dinner party by providing extra dishes and/or buffet set up.



A $125.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date of your event.  A signed contract & 1/2 of the estimated remaining cost is due 2 months prior to your event.  The balance is due 1 week prior to your event.  No event will take place without the full payment being made, unless prior arrangements have been made.  Price quotations are subject to change due to rising food cost.  A confirmed price will be quoted 1 month prior to your event if the price per person changes.


Appetizers will be served 1 hour before the buffet.  Lunch buffets will be served for 1 hour.  Evening buffets will be served for 2 hours.

We must know your complete menu 6 weeks prior to your event along with your expected number of guest, expected arrival time and serving times.  Your guarenteed guest count is needed 2 weeks prior to your event.  The number of buffets charged will equal the number of guests requested or attending, whichever is greater.  We will make every effort to serve additional guests based on the availability of prepared food.  We cannot be held responsible for the quality of food not served at the scheduled time.


We will make every effort to provide Special Diet food (gluten free, low sugar, vegetarian).  Arrangements must be made 1 month prior to your event.  Additional charges may apply.


For an appetizer only event you must choose a minimum of 5 appetizers with a minimum of 50 people.  This will include table service, punch, and 1 hour serving time.  An additional $1.50 will be applied to an appetizer only event held during lunch/dinner hours.


A $50 cake cutting fee includes cutting, disposable plates, napkins and forks.


A $100 delivery/service charge will be assessed for off-site events.  This charge covers buffet set up and take down, containers and packaging of remaining food, sanitation, licence and insurance.  No delivery/service charge will be assessed for events held at the Sycamore Community Center.


The Savory Sweet Catering Hall can accommodate 25 - 65 people comfortably.  No food or drink may be brought into the hall without prior approval.  Hall rental is $50 & food for 2 hours and $20 for each additonal hour.


The Savory Sweet Catering Company Cupcake, Dessert, and Reception Snack Menu are available upon request.


We offer PARTY FOOD TO GO for all of your special events (Graduation, Birthdays, Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, Anniversarys, etc.).  General Pricing - Sandwich $2.00 per sandwich. - Side $1.00 per serving  - Dinner entrees $5.00 per serving. Please call us with your menu ideas to discuss specific pricing.  Minimum order $100
